- pretty sure everyone has known about it-> the second tallest building in the world
- This skyscraper located in the East of Taipei-> capital city of Taiwan.
- Ranked officially as the world awards about environmental design.
- 101 floors above ground and 5 floors under ground at 509m.
- started at 1999->finished at 2004.
- Was designed to withstand typhoons and earthquakes.
- Formerly known as the Taipei International Financial Center-> hundreds of restaurants, upmarket shops->find lots of chain stores… but also local brands…
- Helps government earn an annual profit…
- Tourist attraction -> the world knows about Taiwan as the developing and rich country.
- The icon of Taiwan ever since its opening.
- If it hadn’t had this building, it would have lost the modernity of the country.
