Some people think that governments should invest money in medical technology. Admittedly, it has really developed rapidly in recent years, and with these big achievements, many dangerous diseases can be treatable. However, health education should become in a way that improves quality of healthcare and treatment in the long run. The fact is that some infectious diseases such as HIV-AIDS can’t be cured. However, if people can understand what this disease and its prevention really is, it can be preventable. For example, healthcare volunteers ussually come education campaigns for raising public awareness of residents in the sense that they can distribute healthy books about HIV-AIDS for free. Nonetheless, some people claim that government should put their money into better use by funding medical technology. This is because modern gadgets makes it possible to cure dangerous diseases. For example, advanced medical technology allows cancer patients to live for longer time. However, this development can’t cure all diseases such as HIV-AIDS and besides it takes large amount of public money. Another way, granted, health education provides basic knowledge for public and results in raising the ability to protect health themselves. Which can helps individuals and society save a huge sum of money from spending less money for health services. Therefore, in comparison with funding medical technology, spending on education is more effective and economical way.
