Recent research has confrimed that “human activity has become the greatest threat to plant and animal life” Why do you think this has happen? How can reduce our impact on natural world?

In many countries, the large number of plants and wild animals has decreased significantly in recent years. This has been attributed to satisfying demands of human’s life. Thus, it is crucial to analyse these causes and explore effective solutions.
There are many causes seem to deserve more consideration. Perhaps a major reason why the remarkable number of plants declined is that it has become a popular material in our lives. An illustration of this is an large amount of both household furniture and building materials made from wood. These lead to areas of plant exploited increasingly. Besides, the main cause of a remarkable drop in number of wild animals may be a human consumption for not only eating habits but also fashions. Take wild crocodiles for an example. Their meat is consumed as expensive food, while luxury handbags are made of their skin.
Regarding the reasons above, people put forward various suggestions. One of these is to encourage consumers to use other materials such as plastic and iron which replaces woods. Therefore, an number of logs might reduce significantly. For wild animals, authorities need to improve an awareness of public about wildlife conservation and change their eating habits and styles by an education as well as an introducion of new law. Thus, wild animals can avoid from threatening with extinction.
In conclusion, it is undeniable fact that the most majority of threat to plant and animal life is human activities. Hence, a feasible way to alleviate the problems is that consumers should not use wood and change their eating and fashionable habits.
