The table shows the data about the population in the UK between 2015 and 2070

It is noticeable that the number of total population in the UK will increase over a period of 55 years. As a result, a rise is also expected to seen in both the people aged 75 or older and the percentage of this aged group.

From 2015 to 2025, the slight increase will be seen in the whole population in the UK each five years. Meanwhile, there will have been a rise in the amount of people over 75 to over 10% in 2025.

Overall, after 2030, the UK population, including the people aged over 75 will have a slow increase. 11.34% of citizens in the UK, or 8.1 million people, will be aged over 75 in 2030. The figures for 40 years later is predicted to a few higher, at about 11-12 millions. While the total citizens will go up much more higher, the population aged over 75 will only rise at about 0.1 million. As a result, the proportion of over 75 aged group will decline at about 0.74%
