Studying abroad

There are several disadvantages to studying abroad. Perhaps one of these is the language barrier. Certainly, overseas student would face difficulties during communication with domestic people as there has always been a slight difference between academic and real language. Another drawback is that they must learn how to achieve balance between the studies and other works outside class. This could be because there will certainly be a number of students find a part-time job after class, however it could lead to neglect in the studies for themselves. Finally, it is inevitable that moving away from family would soon become a major obstacle in which living alone would make them feel homesick rather than pay attention to what lecturer is going to say in class.

There are several disadvantages to studying abroad such as financial problems, cultural shock, homesick. The first disadvantage is that it is quite expensive. Finances may become the main problem not only because of the cost of education but also because of cost of living. Secondly, adapting a new environment is difficult for foreigner student. For instance, they can experience a culture shock because of differences in local people’s behavior and relations. The last disadvantage is that international students, undoubtedly, can feel homesick, be lost or alienated when they live without their relatives and close friends. Furthermore, making good friendships takes time and it can be more difficult in a country that they are not used to.

Paragraph: study abroad.

There are several disadvantages to study abroad. Perhaps one of these is the difficulty of communication with people. A good example is that in classes, students sometimes misunderstand the lessons, so they might look around to see what other people do, thus missing important information. Another disadvantage is that studying overseas could impose financial burden on student’s families. A report that I have read on the bbc.co.uk website has indicated that more than 50% of the families have to borrow the large bank loans to afford for student’s tuition fees. Finally, it would be difficult for the international students to get used to the culture. Many students experience cultural shocks as they do feel uncomfortable living in different countries.

There are several disadvantage to studying abroad. Perhaps one of challenge for every foreign student is adapting to a new environment. A good example is that they will have communication barrier so they will not be able to focus on their studies or gain beautiful experiences as they expected. Moreover, changing the weather and food can affect their health. Another disadvantage is being away from their family. They might be doing things that they may not have done in your home country. These include cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping, washing clothes… And they also will probably have times when they miss their family, friends, food and everything familiar . Finally, finance may become the biggest problem. This is because studying abroad is really expensive. The students have to pay not only for their study but also for their living cost. Consequently, it distracts our mind from studying to earning money.

There are several disadvantages to studying abroad. Perhaps one of these is living far away from home. Oversea students would face to homesickness and loneliness and it could translate into disorientation and depression on study. Another disadvantages is the language barrier. A report that I have read on the bbc.co.uk website has indicated that difficulty in communication is the main oversea students's problem and it is the main reason make students's life become harder. Finally, the new culture would affect students and it would take much students's time to overcome. This is because differences in habit and lifestyle would make students feel uncomfotable and so hard to integrate.
