Regarding the issue of living place, people hold different views. Some of them claim that living in an apartment is better than spending time living in a house. In this essay, I am going to examine this question from both options.
One of the major advantages of living in a house is the issue of privacy. There are people who spend their days and nights monitoring the comings and the goings of everyone in the building. However, the homeowners have option of building fences along their property lines. As far as what goes in the house, they can be as private as they can. Other significant advantage is that living in a house is generally more spacious and it can even comes with a garden. This is good for some families have the children or the older because they can have safe environment to play in or to do some exercises. If, however, the apartment dwellers might do not have enough space to play and opportunities to enjoy the fresh air.
On the other hand, it is also possible to make the opposing case. It is often argued that in fact living in an apartment is cheaper and easier to maintain than a real house. A good illustration of this is my aunt and her newlywed husband, they prefer to live in a detached house but they have to choose to live in an apartment because they cannot afford the mortgage to buy a house. A second point is that tower blocks are more secure than houses. There are 24-hour video surveillance in apartments. Therefore, if people go on vacation, they do not need to worry about their homes.
As we have seen, there are no easy answers to this question. I think this is a well-balanced issue. It is both have its possible merits and drawbacks. On balance, living in a house or an apartment depends on lots of factors like personality, family especially financial issue.
